The publication includes a book (with many photos and maps) and a DVD featuring the voice of Crowell and actual movie footage of his vessel aground in Frobisher Bay, Baffin Island, Canada, in 1937. The career of Jack, as he was known, spanned more than 50 years at sea and in the Arctic and Antarctic. When not exploring, he lived with his wife, Alice, on Kimball Island off Isle au Haut.
